The South America Energy Series (SAES19) will be hosted in Bogota, Colombia on the 20-21 June 2019 to discuss market strategies and new technologies needed to accelerate gas utilization and renewable uptake in Colombia & South America.
SAES will deliver a strategic 2-day international conference programme, plenary sessions, keynote presentations and dedicated gas and renewables conference streams looking at the way energy is generated, distributed and consumed. Private sector investors and public sector leaders from across the region will debate key topics of financing, policy and technology to accelerate the transition to a clean energy future in Colombia and South America.
The Minister of Mines and Energy, Maria Fernanda Suárez stated that, ‘the energy transition is one of the priorities for the National Government and that it will boost clean energy from gas as well as unconventional renewable energy sources.
Uniting the entire energy value chain, the event will also feature a one-to-one business matching service, business lunches and evening networking receptions as well as focused workshops, breakout sessions and a company product & technology showcase area.
